Requests are not open yet.

We are not taking requests through this site at the moment, and we do not collect any personal details here. The prices on this page are what we plan to charge.

You can make the request yourself for free through the government route: see our guide to making an ATIP request. To hear from us when requests open, email hi@gcmsnotesfile.ca.

What happens after you request

  1. We confirm your request. You get an email with your reference.
  2. You pay and sign the consent form. Within 1 business day we email you the payment instructions and the form. The consent lets us act for you when we file the request.
  3. We file the request with CBSA within 1 business day of receiving your signed consent form.
  4. We send you the records when the government responds.

Questions about this request

How long does it take to get my CBSA notes?

We file the request with CBSA within 1 business day of receiving your signed consent form. After that the response time is the government’s. It must normally respond within 30 days and can extend that period. We send you the records as soon as we receive them. See the processing times page for details.

Can I request this myself instead?

Yes. You can make the request directly through the government’s ATIP process. Our guide explains the steps. We handle the form, the filing and the follow-up if you would rather not.

What do I pay and when?

Our planned fee is $22 CAD, shown again before you submit. Requests are not open yet, so nothing can be paid or submitted on this site today.
